It's official: Season 2 of Demon Slayer is just a few months away. The release date is currently set for 2021, but months are approaching and a new report suggests that October could be the port of call for Tanjiro's Mugen Train return on streaming services.Amazingly, we actually know a fair amount about the upcoming season: A new trailer has arrived, hinting at new characters, new abilities, and shady new villains, meanwhile the Demon Slayer film dusts off in new episodes. There is the possibility of settling down - which is an incredibly exciting and unknown ground for such a huge series.Below, we've run down all of the major essential and confirmed details so far, plus we're looking a little further ahead to anticipate when Demon Slayer Season 2 is heading our way. As with most anime, the release date of Demon Slayer Season 2 is definitely unclear at the moment. For now, the only official announcement says that the new season will air sometime in 2021. A new report (H/T ComicBook.com), however, narrows it down to October 2021.

You can watch the first Demon Slayer Season 2 trailer right now. Inosuke is seen charging in one scene detailing the Demon Slayer Corps' tour of the entertainment district in Yoshiwara, while a special focus is placed on Sound Hashira. Expect him to tag along and guide the fledgling trio of Tanjiro, Inosuke and Genitsu, just like Rengoku did during the Mugen train.
